Armin Van Buuren

Armin Van Buuren was the second DJ that I heard at one of the newest venues in Seattle, Premier. It was a terrific show! The track selection was great, the mixing was impeccable, and Van Buuren played some of his original creations which is always a good thing. He had a pleasant attitude towards the crowd and seemed to be enjoying every moment of the songs he was picking and mixing. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

As an aside, I find it amusing that more and more DJ shows are set up similar to rock shows, and there's a lot of focus on the DJ by the people akin to a rock show (I wouldn't be too surprised to hear a DJ go "Are you ready to rock, Seattle?"). The first DJs I saw where completely obscured from view.

The venue was good the second time around but I really don't like the fact that they pull the plug on the DJ towards the end. Other than that, I have no complaints about this club.
